The RimSmith was created to gently remove moderate sized dents in aluminum bicycle rims with a simple rotor truing tool on the reverse end. Having dented my rims multiple times over the years, I decided to look for available tools on the market but to my disappointment similar tools were no longer available for purchase. If I could no longer purchase similar tools then I decided to make one for myself. From this need, The RimSmith came to fruition.
